It has become a tradition for me to print a selection of photos from each of my travels and use them for creative projects as memories – for example, by putting them in photo albums, just like people used to do in the old days.
I’ve often chosen to print 12 memorable photos and use them for a personal year calendar – one photo from a special travel experience for each month.
This year, I made two wall calendars: one for myself and one for my mom, which she received as a Christmas gift. I often choose a theme, such as nature photos, a color scheme, funny and personal pictures, photos from different trips, or photos from one specific trip.
This time, I drew the calendar myself to make it more personal and colorful. Previously, I’ve used a printed template and simply added my own photos.
I love making projects like these because, for me, it’s such a great way to relive nice travel memories.
